Privacy Policy
Juseok Metallurgy uses personal data submitted through the homepage inquiry form solely to reply to that inquiry. This page explains how.
Draft — This has been structured to cover the required items under Korea's PIPA (Personal Information Protection Act), but the placeholders (○○○) below must still be filled with real values: §3 the actual name/contact of the sub-processor and destination country, §7 the privacy officer's name and address, §8 the effective date. We never collect Korean resident registration numbers under any circumstance. The site uses no advertising cookies and does not identify visitors personally or track them across sites. For visit statistics we do use Vercel Web Analytics — an aggregate measurement that sets no cookies and does not identify individuals. To render the page, we also load font files from external web-font CDNs (Google Fonts, jsDelivr), which may pass the visitor's IP address to those CDNs and to our hosting/analytics provider (Vercel).
Juseok Metallurgy's services are directed at businesses and organizations; we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 14.
2. Retention and destruction
Data is destroyed without delay once its purpose is fulfilled. Inquiry data is deleted from the form backend and mailbox one year after the reply is completed. Electronic files are permanently deleted using a method that prevents recovery, and printouts, if any, are shredded.
Data that other laws require us to retain is stored separately for that period, then destroyed.
3. Outsourced processing and cross-border transfer
To send and reply to inquiry forms, we outsource personal data processing to the providers below. Outsourcing agreements set out data-protection terms in writing, and we verify each processor's handling practices. These processors host servers abroad, so personal data is transferred to and stored in other countries; under Article 28-8(1)(3) of Korea's Personal Information Protection Act, the transfer details are disclosed below.

Data subjects may refuse the cross-border transfer of their personal data. However, since the processors above are required to receive inquiry forms and send email replies, refusal may limit the ability to submit an inquiry through the form — in that case, please contact the privacy officer listed below directly.
4. Third-party disclosure
We do not provide personal data to third parties. An exception applies where law enforcement lawfully requests it through due process, in which case data may be provided within that scope.
5. Data subject rights
At any time, you may exercise the following rights over your own personal data.
- Request access
- Request correction, if there is an error
- Request deletion
- Request suspension of processing
These rights are exercised by emailing the privacy officer below (who handles access requests), and after identity verification, requests are processed and a response given within 10 days of receipt. Requests may also be made through a legal representative or authorized agent, in which case a power of attorney must be included.
6. Security measures
- Access to personal data is limited to the staff handling inquiries, with access rights managed separately.
- HTTPS is applied across the entire site to encrypt data in transit.
- Two-factor authentication is applied to the form backend and email accounts.

8. Changes to this policy
This policy takes effect from 0000-00-00. Any additions, deletions, or amendments are announced on the site at least 7 days before they take effect.
